Quick Start Guide
Get from purchase to a live store in about 15 minutes.
What you'll do
- Log into your Customer Portal
- Download the theme file
- Upload it to Shopify
- Enter your license key
- Customize and publish
Step 1: Log into your portal
Go to usekenso.com/theme/portal and sign in with the email you used to purchase.
First time? You should have been prompted to create a password after checkout. If you skipped that, go to usekenso.com/theme/login and click "Forgot Password" to set one up.
Step 2: Download the theme
In your portal, click Download Theme. You'll get a ZIP file — don't unzip it, Shopify needs it as-is.
Step 3: Upload to Shopify
- Go to your Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes
- Click Add theme → Upload zip file
- Select the ZIP you downloaded
- Wait for it to finish (about 30 seconds)
Step 4: Enter your license key
- Click Customize on your new Kenso theme
- Click the gear icon (bottom left) for Theme Settings
- Find the License section
- Paste your license key from the portal
- Click Save
Your license key is in your portal — use the copy button to grab it.
Step 5: Customize and publish
- Set your brand colors and upload your logo
- Add your products to the product grids
- Configure the AI chatbot with your store info
- When ready, go back to Themes and click Publish
That's it — your store is live.
