How Licenses Work

One license = one store

Each license activates on one Shopify store. Kenso Lite includes 1 license. Kenso Pro includes 5.

When you activate, the license locks to your store's auto-generated Shopify domain — the one with random characters like bknzyb-jv.myshopify.com. This domain is permanent and unique to your store.

What the license unlocks

Without a license, the theme shows a setup screen. With an active license you get all 140+ features: premium sections, AI chatbot, spin wheel, bundle builder, live sales notifications, and everything else.

Your license key

Your key is in your Customer Portal. It looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Changing stores

Both Lite and Pro customers can transfer their license to a different store in the portal. Click "Change Domain" on any license. There's a 14-day cooldown between transfers.

Custom domains don't affect your license

Your license is locked to your auto-generated domain, not your custom domain. You can freely add, remove, or change custom domains (like mystore.com) without affecting your license at all.
