What If My Store Gets Banned?
What happens
When Shopify bans your store, your auto-generated domain is deactivated. Your Kenso license was locked to that domain, so you'll need to transfer it to a new store.
How to recover
- Create a new Shopify store
- Go to usekenso.com/theme/portal
- Click Change Domain on your license
- Enter your new store's domain
- Download and install the theme on your new store
- You're back in business
Both Lite and Pro customers can do this themselves in the portal. There's a 14-day cooldown between transfers — if you need it done immediately after a ban, contact support and we'll help.

- Respond to customer complaints quickly
- Avoid selling prohibited items
- Use proper digital delivery methods
- Kenso's built-in checkout flow is designed to be compliant
